My friends have cooked at the Thai Cooking School. The owner is a famous chef and when my friends were there, he actually came and helped demonstrate one of the courses! (see pic below).

Information from Thai Cookery School:
Our class is available everyday from 10.00am till around 16.00pm.
The class takes place at our Chef's home (out off town). The city location is just the office (meeting point in the morning)
Private class could be for 1 person but the price will get lower if there are more people.
Price for Full day join beginner class is 1450 baht / person and price for private class is 2700 baht (one person) 4500 baht (total 2 persons) 6000 baht (total 3 persons).
Price for Half day Join beginner class is 990 baht / person and price for private class is 2200 baht (one person) 3700 baht ( total 2 [persons) 4,500 baht ( total 3 persons)
Duration : 6 hours for Full day class ( morning activity + cooking 6 dishes)
4 hours for Half day class ( morning activity + cooking 4 dishes)
Price includes:
Round-trip transportation from city accommodation
Food and materials
Individual cooking station
